Course Description
The Facilitator Development Program is designed to build a solid foundation of knowledge and skills for those who deliver training or presentations to adults. The Facilitator Skills Development training considers the principles of adult learning to create and deliver an effect training plan to meet an organization's needs.
This interactive training course will assist you in examining various adult learning theories and how to integrate these into your facilitation. In addition to building your skills, knowledge and attitude, this course will provide you with the opportunity to put into practice what you have learned.
What you will learn

Important information
Facilitator Skills Development consists of 14 hours in a classroom setting over 2 days. It can also be delivered virtually based on a custom schedule.
During the course, you will develop a training plan and deliver a 30-minute training session for evaluation.
An evaluation of your first training session following the course is required in order to complete your certification. This step will be conducted by a trained evaluator with Tourism Saskatchewan and must be arranged by the participant.
This course is intended for in-house trainers, staff presenters, workshop or webinar presenters, and others responsible for leading instruction or professional development.
