Anita MakrodimitriouCongratulations to Anita Makrodimitriou for achieving her Journeyperson certification in the Food and Beverage Person trade. Anita works as catering manager at Park Town Hotel in Saskatoon.

Becoming a journeyperson is an important career milestone. It shows the dedication that drives the success of the tourism economy in Saskatchewan. Earning Food and Beverage Person credential includes completing emerit Food and Beverage Server and Bartender Professional Certifications. Nationally recognized professional certifications are among several technical and safety qualifications that every journeyperson completes. Journeypersons in tourism trades also complete comprehensive Workplace Trainer development so that they can serve as helpful role models for colleagues and newly recruited workers.

Anita previously attained journeyperson certification in the Guest Services Representative trade, for which she she received the award for Outstanding Journeyperson at the 17th annual Apprenticeship Awards, hosted by the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC), in 2017.
