Event Listings

Event Listings

An event listing helps promote festivals, activities and seasonal events to travellers and residents planning trips within Saskatchewan.

What is an event listing?

An event listing highlights a specific event taking place at a set date and location. Events appear in Tourism Saskatchewan's event listings and are searchable by date and region.

Event listings are ideal for:

  • Festivals and celebrations
  • Workshops and classes
  • Visual arts, crafts, sports and recreation
  • Seasonal or recurring events
  • Community or cultural events open to visitors

Best practices for event listings

To help travellers plan effectively, event listings should include:

  • Clear event dates and times
  • Accurate location details
  • A brief description of the event
  • Contact information or a website for more details
  • If you have a recurring event (eg. weekly/monthly), there is no need to submit separate listings for each occurence. Specify the start and end dates in the date field of the request form. In the listing description, mention that the event will be taking place on a weekly/monthly basis and note the day of the week or monthly date of the event (eg. "every Monday" or "the first day of the month, May-June").

How to create, update or remove an event listing

All event-related requests can be submitted through one online form.

You can use the form to:

  • Create a new event listing
  • Update event details (dates, times, location, description)
  • Request removal of an event listing

How it works

  1. Submit your request using the online form
  2. Select the option that best matches your request
  3. A Customer Service Representative will review your request and follow up with you if more information is needed
